Jupiter Returns!

Mighty Jupiter finally returns to our night skies for easy observing this month. Always a favourite target, Jupiter offers a wealth of detail and action to the amateur astronomer. Track raging storms across its mighty disc, examine the Great Red Spot and evidence of White Spots, watch the ballet dance of its four largest moons (the Galilean Moons) as they zip in front of and behind this massive planet. Check out Astronomy.com's page on Jupiter for more info!
